Corona Virus/ Covid-19

Added on 18 March 2020

With everything going on re Covid-19, I am contacting everyone who has a holiday booked at Dolphin View Cottage over the forthcoming months. I want to reassure you that I am still intending to honour all bookings, mainly in light of the fact that all our guests intend travelling here via their own transport and will be occupying their own space here with full cooking facilities (not a crowded area like a hotel).  I also feel that many will appreciate the opportunity to go for walks on the beaches and in the large open spaces nearby without having to worry about being in a confined space with strangers.

I clean the property myself and can assure you that our standards of hygiene have always been extremely high, however we have “upped” our regime to include for extra attention to all hard surfaces disinfecting door handles, taps, shower controls, keys, key safe and remote controls etc.  Pillows, pillow protectors, duvet protectors and mattress protectors are removed and laundered on each changeover.

On arrival we will maintain a ‘safe’ distance from you, and as we have a key safe you have the option to avoid any contact.  The garden is fully enclosed and once you have parked on the drive you can shut the gate.

We would, however, ask that you do please follow government guidelines and therefore should anyone in your party display Corvid-19 symptoms or live with anyone who does, then you should stay at home.  If this coincides with your holiday dates please let me know as soon as possible and if I can rebook your dates I will be able to give you a significant refund.

I am monitoring the situation and will be in touch with guests if anything changes, but please do not hesitate to contact me in the meantime if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented and unsettling times.  We hope to welcome you very soon for a relaxing holiday.

Best wishes and stay well.

Lynn and Mike
