Inverness Airport named best small Scottish airport
New research from Which magazine has placed Inverness as the top small airport in Scotland, above both Aberdeen International and Glasgow Prestwick.  Out of the ten categories of questions, Inverness scored top marks for passport control and airport design.  Inverness' overall ranking was 7th UK-wide, with newly built Southend airport in the number one small airport slot.
In June 2013, 11,537 Which members completed an online survey about their experiences of flying from a UK airport in the past year.  Customer scores were based on a combination of overall satisfaction and how likely people were to recommend the airport to a friend.
Graeme Bell, Inverness Airport Manager, said, "We are delighted to have been recognised as the best performing small airport in Scotland by our passengers in the latest Which? airport passenger survey.  The airport team works hard to deliver a great experience for our customers and this ranking shows that our customers are pleased with the service they receive when travelling through the airport.  Inverness Airport continues to develop new services for our passengers to improve their experience and was the first airport in Scotland to introduce free WiFi.  However, we’re not going to rest on our laurels and next year intend to improve even further."
